The RC-2II FastTrak Remote Location System offered by
Rocky Mountain Lasers & TPI
Wireless operation ensures fast, simple acquisition of the GPT-8200 tracking beam in seconds. When jobsite obstacles disrupt the beam from your total station equipped with the RC-2H Handle, FastTrak instantly reacquires lock at the press of a button. The RC-2II Fast Trak remote attaches near the prism, which communicates with the handle. The Receiver scans for the handle and the handle then aims at the receiver's prism located nearby.
Add a Topcon FC-1000 or FC-100 controller with Bluetooth® wireless technology to connect to the RC-2II, and lose the controller cable all together for the ultimate radio-free, cable-free, one-man surveying operation.
Topcon’s exclusive optical data link eliminates the hassles and headaches of radio-controlled robotics and effectively eliminates any chance of down-time caused by radio interferance. Through the RCII's Infrared communication ability, radioless links can be obtained at distances of up to 800 feet.
