Quite frankly, the Laser and GPS site management and stakeless grading technology being produced today is amazingly different than that which was produced just a few years ago. The GLOSNASS satellite system has tripled the number of GPS satellites circling the earth. Total Station systems can communicate with GPS robotically, and GPS systems along with rotating laser technology advancements make measurements to millimeter tolerances over whole sites.
